Arnold Chua completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology in Australia and obtained a master’s degree in special education at the National Institute of Education (NIE) of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Recognised for his outstanding research, he received a dean’s award from NIE for his work on “Establishing a psycho-educational profile of a boy with developmental dyslexia: A single-subject case study,” which was published in a journal in 2013. His expertise lies in early intervention, where he has taught young learners facing various learning challenges, including autism, global developmental delay, and speech and language delay. Recognising the importance of supporting older students in both mainstream and special education settings, Arnold is committed to bridging the gap between different age groups. Moreover, he actively advocates for the inclusion of individuals with special needs in education and employment through his contributions on social media.

Arnold’s academic contributions extend beyond his own research publications; he has also served as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Early Childhood Literacy. Currently, he works as an educational therapist, applying his expertise to support students in their learning journeys.
